Scripps Research hit the waves this summer, surfing for a cure. Members of the institute’s drug discovery division Calibr took part in the Luau and Legends Surf Contest August 18, 2019 in La Jolla. The 26th annual event was dedicated to raising money for cancer research, in collaboration with the Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego. Congratulations to our team, who won the “crowdsurfing” prize for the greatest number of unique donations. They raised over $1,400 from 35 donations.
